24-HOUR MAJOR CRIME SUMMARY REPORT

NOTE: The following summaries are allegations of incidents that have been reported and are under investigation. 1st Precinct CIRCUMSTANCES: On Dec. 18, in the 2900 block of Grand River, at approximately 3 a.m., the 21-year-old female victim was sexually assaulted by the suspect at the local business. WANTED: Suspect: Male, 60. Anyone with information call: 313.596.1950. CIRCUMSTANCES: On Dec.18, at approximately 4:10 p.m., at 1900 Michigan Avenue, the 48-year-old female victim was pulling into the rear parking lot of a local business when suspect #1 in a bright red older model pick-up truck approached her, waved a weapon and demanded the keys to her vehicle. Suspect # 1 then entered her vehicle, a 2014 Ford Explorer (Michigan license plate BGG 9115), and drove away. WANTED: Suspect #1: Black male, 6’ 0”, medium build, wearing a ski mask and armed; Suspect #2: Black male, 20s, medium complexion (driver) Anyone with information call: 313.596.1340. CIRCUMSTANCES: On Dec. 17, at approximately 7:05 p.m., at 9000 Woodward, the suspect entered the location, produced a handgun and demanded money from the store employee. Taken was an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency. No injuries. WANTED: Suspect: Unknown. Anyone with information call: 313.596.5240. 2nd Precinct CIRCUMSTANCES: On Dec. 16, at approximately 4:40 a.m., in the 14000 block of Wyoming, the suspects took items off the shelves and attempted to leave the local gas station. The 36-year-old male victim (employee) locked the doors and one of the suspects produced a weapon and pointed it at him. The victim then unlocked the door and the suspects fled the location. The victim was not injured. WANTED: Suspect #1: Black male; heavy set, medium complexion, wearing all dark clothing and armed; Suspects # 2 and # 3: Black males. Anyone with information call: 313.596.5240. 5th Precinct CIRCUMSTANCES: On Dec. 18, in the Seven Mile/Hayes area at approximately 7:20 a.m., the 22-year-old male victim was wounded when an unknown suspect, driving a black Dodge Charger, fired shots into his vehicle. The victim drove himself to the hospital where he was listed in critical condition. WANTED: Suspect: Unknown. Anyone with information call: 313.596.2260. CIRCUMSTANCES: On Dec. 17, at approximately 4:42 a.m., in the 4000 block of Ashley, the 62-year-old male victim (victim #1) and 50-year-old male victim (victim #2) were at the location when a fire occurred. As a result, victim #1 received burns to his face, legs and hands. Victim #2 sustained a broken left ankle. The cause of the fire is unknown. WANTED: Suspect: Unknown. CIRCUMSTANCES: On Dec. 16, at approximately 5:40 a.m. in the 6000 block of East Warren, the 30-year-old male victim (business owner), was informed by the alarm company of motion inside of his store. Upon arrival, he observed the suspects escape in a vehicle (red, newer model Chevy Impala) with an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency. WANTED: Suspects #1 - # 3: Unknown males wearing masks. Anyone with information call: 313.596.5240. 6th Precinct CIRCUMSTANCES: On Dec. 18, at approximately 6:50 p.m., in the Joy/Artesian area, the 25-year-old victim was approached by two suspects who assaulted him and took his cell phones, keys, and headphones then fled eastbound on Joy. WANTED: Suspect #1: Black male, 16-17, 145-150 lbs., 5’ 8” – 5’ 9”, wearing a blue skull cap, black coats, black pants and armed; Suspect # 2: Unknown. Anyone with information call: 313.596.5240. CIRCUMSTANCES: On Dec. 17, in the 8000 block of Heyden, an unknown victim was discovered laying face down in the snow, partially clothed and frozen and unresponsive with trauma to the head. CIRCUMSTANCES: On Dec. 16 at 5:25 a.m. in the 6000 block of Greenfield, the local restaurant was broken into by the suspect who took an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency and other items from the location. CIRCUMSTANCES: On Dec. 16, at approximately 7:20 p.m., in the West Chicago/Greenfield, the 23-year-old male victim was walking when he received a gunshot wound to the body and was listed in stable condition. WANTED: Suspect: Unknown. Anyone with information call: 313.596.2260. 8th Precinct CIRCUMSTANCES: On Dec. 18, at approximately 8: 20 p.m. in the Freeland/Keeler area, the 18-year-old male victim was found with a gunshot wound to the right leg. He was unable to convey any further information. Circumstances surrounding this incident are unknown at this time. The victim is listed in critical condition. WANTED: Suspect #1: Unknown. On Dec. 17, at approximately 9:45 p.m., in the 20000 block of West McNichols, witnesses at the location heard a gunshot and observed the 29-year-old male victim fall to the floor. Witnesses also observed a silver Nissan Maxima occupied by two suspects leaving the area. WANTED: Suspect: #1 Black Male, Suspect #2 Black male Anyone with information call: 313.596.5240. CIRCUMSTANCES: On Dec. 16, at approximately 1:15 p.m., in the West McNichols/Schaefer area, the 24-year-old male victim had exited a bus, when he heard shots and felt pain. He received a gunshot wound to the body and was listed in temporary serious condition. WANTED: Suspect: Unknown. Anyone with information call: 313.596.2260. 9th Precinct CIRCUMSTANCES: On Dec. 18, at approximately 8 p.m. at 15500 Carlisle, the 18-year-old victim got into a fight with suspect who stabbed her twice in the face and once in the right shoulder. The suspect then fled on foot in an unknown direction. The victim is listed in stable condition. WANTED: Suspect: Black female, 19, black hair, wearing blue jeans and a pink shirt. Anyone with information call: 313.596.2260. 10th Precinct CIRCUMSTANCES: On Dec. 18, at approximately 5:42 p.m., at 14000 Livernois, the unknown male suspect came into the local business claiming to be there to pick up some merchandise. He produced a weapon and robbed the employees. Taken was an undetermined amount of U.S. currency and a cell phone. WANTED: Suspect: Black male, 20-21, 5’ 9”, 120-130 lbs., medium complexion, gap in front upper teeth, wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, light blue jean pants, white gym shoes and armed. Anyone with information call: 313.596.5240. 11th Precinct CIRCUMSTANCES: On Dec. 17, at approximately 2:20 a.m. in the 20000 block of Gallagher, the 33-year-old female victim was taking out trash, when she was approached by an unknown suspect who demanded money from her. The victim refused and a struggled occurred. The suspect fled and fired two shots at the victim resulting in the victim receiving one gunshot wound to the right side of her face. WANTED: Suspect: Black male; 20s, 5’ 6”, 140 lbs., medium complexion, wearing a black hoody and armed. Anyone with information call: 313.596.5240. 12th Precinct CIRCUMSTANCES: On Dec. 18, in the 20000 block of Warrington at approximately 7:05 a.m., the 48-year-old male victim (DTE employee) was inside of his DTE truck when an unknown suspect shot him multiple times. A dark, four-door vehicle (unknown model/license plate) was seen leaving the location. The victim was listed in critical condition. WANTED: Suspect: Unknown. Anyone with information call: 313.596.2260. 13th Precinct CIRCUMSTANCES: On Dec. 18, at approximately 3:07 a.m., in the Warren/ Grand River area, the 45-year-old victim (DDOT bus driver) was assaulted after refusing to accept the suspect’s expired transferred. After the assault, the suspect exited the bus and ran east on Warren towards Grand River. WANTED: Suspect: Black male, 5’ 7”, 180-190 lbs., medium complexion, short, thinning hair, wearing a black jacket and blue jean pants. Anyone with information call: 313.596.1340.
