Allen is the CEO of Forever Fresh and believes the clinic, which serves over 3,000 people a year without health insurance, is “one of the best kept secrets in Detroit.” At this year’s event, Trinity Health Systems announced its gift of $75,000 to the Juanita Reaves Free Clinic. Henry Ford Health Systems and MGM Grand Detroit were also sponsors. The Juanita Reaves Free Clinic is part of the Joy Southfield Community Development Center. The clinic is named for Juanita Reaves who worked as a nurse at Henry Ford Health Systems.
