Jones is one of 19 who have been arrested since July 10, when water rights activists began blocking the Homrich trucks. Detroit Water and Sewerage Department began a program of massive water shutoffs in March and have disconnected as many as 15,000 homes under the orders of Emergency Manager Kevyn Orr. The wrecking company has a $5.6 million contract to conduct the water shutoffs and turn-ons.
