Riverwalk for health

Over a year ago I wrote the Detroit City Council’s and office of the mayor’s main roles would be to legitimate the illegitimate actions of the Negro proxy emergency manager of the union-busting, democracy-destroying Governor Snyder. I was on point.
The continued illegal actions of those who place art over the people of Detroit require clear approval of Detroit City Council before a federal judge will approve deals such as the approval of the transfer of DIA assets to a trust. Why? Simple enough, the council and mayor legitimate the illegitimate actions of the EM and courts, be it the Belle Isle or DIA Detroit rip-offs.
What would have happened had the Detroit City Council voted “no” on Belle Isle or the DIA deals? The democracy-destroyers would have been exposed to the universe-at-large.
Detroit makes do. Yeah you tried to dehumanize the real people (human beings) of Detroit by saying you will keep “riff raff“ off Belle Isle. Now, we simply do the Riverwalk. Wonder what will happen when parties of law abiding Black folk do a barbecue grilling while packing?
Detroit Riverwalk for health. Walking the Riverwalk regularly will help our collective battle against high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease, breast cancer and a host of other medical maladies while sharpening brain matter.
Your feet are critical to Riverwalk fulfillment. Wear lightweight running or walking shoes, but ditch the flat sandals or flip flops. If you opt to do the stairs of the Joe (Louis Arena) know that coming down is an issue as the steps can be loose and crumbly.
Our Riverwalk presence generates unwarranted fear. When some see us in large numbers, they recognize our power potential more than we do. The Border Patrol fenced off a Rivard Street alley outlet to limit our parking access to the back of their already fenced in HQ. Watch what folks do to lock us out of the Ren Cen, even though they enjoyed corporate welfare when Americans bailed out GM — and they still haven’t repaid billions.
Note: The Riverwalk beating of the Black gay youngster was a crime born of ignorance. We, that have been the victims of racist intolerance, must teach our children tolerance for all.
We must never let haters cause us to lose hope or dislike ourselves and never let haters make you weak in your faith. Keep the faith. Stay on the battlefield.
