DETROIT - Warren Evans, candidate for Wayne County Executive and former Detroit Police Chief, spoke with the Michigan Citizen about his campaign June 5. During the interview Evans answered questions regarding the police raid that led to the death of 7-year-old Aiyana Stanley Jones in 2010, while he was chief. Evans said the use of flash grenades during the raid was a procedural problem that needed to be fixed. "There's nothing you can call that but a terrible incident that will bother a lot of people for years to come," he said. See the video below:
